Mitos-4: Pesaing Anda bisa mengacaukan ranking website Anda dan bahkan membuat website Anda tidak terindeks oleh Google. Faktanya adalah hampir tidak ada peluang bagi pesaing Anda untuk merusak peringkat atau menghilangkan website Anda dari index Google. Peringkat dan kehadiran website Anda di index Google sepenuhnya berada dalam kontrol Anda sebagai webmaster, termasuk dalam hal konten dan desain website.
Mitos-5: Website Anda akan dihapus dari index Google bila Anda terlalu sering melakukan submit URL. Faktanya adalah: Google tidak menganjurkan Anda submit URL dan tidak juga melarangnya.
